Southport Air Show returns this weekend, with talented pilots taking to the air to impress crowds as they watch on from the beach, Pier and prom.
Some of the world’s best aerobatic display teams are participating in the Southport Air Show on July 9 and 10. This includes the UK’s Red Arrows, the Republic of Korea’s Black Eagles and the Army parachute team who will start their display in the air and finish on the ground.
Also taking place on the ground is the military village where members of the armed forces will be on hand to show visitors their equipment and answer questions from anyone interested in a similar career. Other attractions include mini tanks, bungee trampolines, land zorbs, bumper cars, simulators, a paintball range and replica Spitfire ‘Lucy’ from Lytham St Annes where there will be re-enactors showing what life was like in the Battle of Britain.
