This year’s Southport Air Show takes place this weekend, featuring a huge line up including the Red Arrows.
On July 9 and 10, crowds will gather along the Pier, beach and prom to watch the spectacular show, while also enjoying a variety of attractions on the ground. This includes mini tanks, bungee trampolines, land zorbs, bumper cars, simulators, a paintball range and replica Spitfire 'Lucy'.
There will be plenty to see in the sky at the Southport Air Show, including Korea’s Black Eagles and the Army parachute team who will start their display in the air and finish on the ground. The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows, are performing on the Saturday and Sunday.

With a trademark combination of close formation flying and dynamic loops and rolls, the team has been displaying since 1965. They’ll be taking to the sky at the Air Show at around 4pm on both days.
It’s too late to buy early bird and advanced tickets for the Southport Air Show, but full price tickets are available until 4pm on Sunday, July 10. They can be purchased here.
