Southern California Edison, the electrical utility for Los Angeles, is facing legal action over its alleged involvement in one of the devastating fires that have swept through the city, claiming lives and displacing thousands of residents.
Jeremy Gursey, a resident of the Altadena neighborhood whose home was destroyed in the Eaton Fire, has filed a lawsuit in LA County Superior Court accusing SCE of being responsible for igniting the fire. SCE, however, has consistently denied these allegations.
