South Park fans applaud episode which makes cheeky privacy dig at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got a mention in a recent episode of South Park and fans found it hysterical.

In the show, a couple based on the royals moved in across the road from Kyle - and viewers were absolutely loving it.

During the skit, the characters, who were known as 'the prince of Canada and his wife' continued to plead for privacy and at one point the prince is seen getting out his blue penis, which is a nod to his book where he revealed he got frostbite on his manhood during a charity trek in the North Pole, writes The Mirror.

And after watching the episode, fans flocked to social media to applaud it.

One viewer wrote: "The #southpark episode of Harry and Meghan is pure effing gold."

Another said: "New #SouthPark is awesome so far!!! They are definitely ripping on Harry and Meghan," while a third commented: "South Park has seriously nailed Meghan Markle & Prince Harry. #SouthPark."

While one wrote: "#SouthPark is absolutely torching Harry and Meghan right now!!," alongside a flame emoji and crying with laughter face.

Another added: "#southpark I’m a Meghan and Harry fan and I’m actually digging this episode so far. It’s miles better than The Prince."

Before it began, a disclaimer flashed up on the screen saying that all characters - even if they're based on real people - are indeed fictional.

The episode begins with Kyle's younger brother, Ike, being devastated by the death of the Queen as he watches a stream of the monarch's funeral.

During the ceremony, a fake Elton John character begins to sing very badly before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are booed by the crowd as they sat down.

They could then be seen on Good Morning Canada, holding picket signs urging for privacy before the host roasted them for Harry's new book.

After storming off, they were then mocked as they embarked on a "worldwide privacy tour" before ending up moving next door to Kyle.

Later on, Kyle was forced to call the police on his new neighbours as they put up banners asking for privacy, while causing a disturbance by playing polo and drums on their lawn.

The couple then struggled to get attention that they "didn't want" and ended up at an agency to try to change their brand, with the prince giving a powerful speech about actually wanting privacy, before he is met by silence from his wife.
