South Korea boss Robert Moreno insists Rangers star Min-su Kim deserves his first call-up after he studied his performances with the Ibrox side.
Rangers' new signing was named for the first time in the Korean squad for their four friendlies, just a day after he helped Derek McInnes' side to a comfortable Old Firm success over Celtic.
And the country's new Spanish manager Moreno admitted he had been studying Kim at Rangers, Girona and even when he was on loan in the Spanish second tier with Andorra last term.
He said: "I selected Kim Min-su based on his performances at his current club, Rangers.
"But I also looked at his past performances for Girona and Andorra.

"I looked at his individual games, but also his role within those three teams.
"He is an excellent player capable of playing in several attacking roles.
"The criteria for wearing the national team shirt will be not a player's reputation or past history, but what they show on the pitch.
"So while I do look at a player's career statistics, I consider their last ten matches to be the most important. This is because they are an indicator that best shows recent performances."
