A pedestrian has been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision in South Belfast in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It happened in the Cooke Street area of the Ormeau Road at 1.20am.
Police say the pedestrian remains in a critical but stable condition and are appealing for information and witnesses following the collision.

PSNI Inspector Murphy said: “We are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage at the time the collision took place, this was close to the junction with Cooke Street.
"The pedestrian was taken to hospital where they remain in a critical but stable condition.
"Our investigation is underway and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area to contact us on 101 quoting reference number 179 16/04/23.
"The Ormeau Road had been closed for a time but has since reopened."
