South Australia adds 63 COVID-19 deaths to toll — the most in one day since start of pandemic

South Australia has reported 63 COVID-19 deaths in one day — the highest figure in a single day — after adjusting data to include some deaths over a four month period from April to August.  

The previous highest figure was 23, reported on March 7, 2022.
