Two people with COVID-19 have died in South Australia, while the number of new cases in the state has dropped.

SA Health says a man in his 60s and a woman in her 80s have died after contracting coronavirus.

There were 1,467 new COVID-19 cases reported in South Australia, about 200 fewer than yesterday and Friday.

A total of 114 people are in hospital with the virus, including 11 in intensive care and two people on a ventilator.

Testing numbers were also down on previous days.

SA Health named the Wheatsheaf Hotel, in Price, on the Yorke Peninsula, as a high-risk exposure site from 4pm on Saturday, February 19, to 12:30am on Sunday, February 20.

People who have been at the venue have been advised to monitor for symptoms and get tested if they appear.
