Sources claim police have picture of Boris Johnson holding beer can at lockdown bash

It is understood that the MET has a photograph of the prime minister at his allegedly lockdown breaching party in June 2020 holding a can of beer.

Boris Johnson is seen to be stood next to the Chancellor - and potential successor - Rishi Sunak, who can be seen holding a soft drink - probably a coca-cola- in the cabinet room of No 10.

The PM was allegedly seen to be holding his can of Estrella beer out towards the camera in a toast gesture, according to sources.
