Popular music festival Sound City returned today with thousands of music lovers descending on Liverpool.
For the past 16 years, Sound City has had events across three different continents bringing audiences from acts who have become big stars. The likes of Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, The 1975 and Paloma Faith all had their time at Sound City, and have since become global musical artists.
This weekend, the festival will take place across a range of different venues including Mountford Hall, Wider Arts Stage, Stanley Theatre stage and Liverpool Guild of Students. The Sound City conference is also returning this year, giving music fans the chance to engage, learn from and share ideas with leading industry professionals - ideal for any budding artists.
