Sophie Kasaei headed to LooseFest in Newcastle on Saturday but didn't get to see her ex Joel Corry perform after he was left 'gutted' at not being able to appear, despite being on site.
After months and months of build up, the massive event at the Town Moor, on the outskirts of the city centre, is finally happening this weekend, with stars like Example and Black Eyed Peas on the huge outdoor main stage on Saturday. And Joel, the man responsible for big chart hits like Sorry, Head & Heart and Out Out was meant to be there too, performing in an earlier than assumed slot before jetting straight to Belgium for a set at world famous festival Tomorrowland.
Joel was due on the main stage at 1pm, an hour after gates were supposed to open. However, as the clock struck 1, there were still thongs of ticket holders at a stand-still outside as the entry time was significantly delayed. And, given that he had to run to a tight schedule, Joel was no longer unable to appear.

He took to Twitter to deny any blame as well, posting: "Hey guys I’m so gutted I was unable to play @LooseFest Newcastle today. I was on site & ready to start my set at 1PM. Unfortunately, due to circumstances outside of my control the venue was unable to open in time for my set. I look forward to being back in the Toon soon."
While Joel wasn't at LooseFest long, his ex Sophie, who he had a relationship with on camera in the early series of Geordie Shore, was there having a ball with other stars from the MTV show including Chloe Ferry and Abbie Holborn.
The girls started their day off with drinks at Chloe's million pound house a few miles away from the event, before taxiing there to join their fellow revellers.
