Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor took to social media to announce her pregnancy in March this year. Ever since then she has been actively posting pictures of herself flaunting her baby bump and setting fashion goals for mothers around the world.
The mom-to-be has been on the go, doing maternity shoots, going shopping with her sister Rhea Kapoor and yes! planning a big, extravagant baby shower. The couple invited a few friends and family over and threw a grand fairytale style bash!
The Neerja actor looked absolutely breathtaking in a pink halter neck maxi dress and of course her pregnancy glow was on point.
Beautiful decor, personalized menu and customized gifts
Fasionista Sonam Kapoor is known for her chic style and her love for design and that definitely showed in the arrangements done for the baby shower.
Many of the guests, including the actor's sister Rhea Kapoor, shared glimpses from the party. Tagging Sonam, she posted pictures of the aesthetic outdoor set up, dreamy decor with customised menu and napkins.
"Such a beautiful baby shower," wrote Rhea.
The guests also shared a peek into the little gift pouch which contained a beautiful neckpiece with their name on it.
Leo Kalyan performs 'Masakali' at the party
Adding more life to the event was British Pakistani singer-songwriter, model, and music producer Leo Kalyan who performed and sang several Bollywood hits at the shower, including Sonam Kapoor’s popular song ‘Masakali’.
Sharing a picture on social media, Leo wrote, "A spice girl in Bollywood. I just performed at Sonam Kapoor’s baby shower what is life?”
An act of good deed made the day even more special
Sonam Kapoor's baby shower has surely impressed all her fans, but one thing that should not go amiss is the actor's charitable act. Sonam and her family donated cartons of milk packets to a charitable orphanage called 'Welfare Home for Children.'
The Neerja actor took to her social media and posted glimpses of the same.
