Son who binged on cocaine and spent thousands gambling every night finds recovery

A heartbroken son resorted to cocaine-fuelled gambling sessions during which he would spend thousands of pounds every night to cope with the death of his mum.But following intervention from his family, he managed to turn his life around and now runs his own support platform to help fellow addicts.

Ed Williams, 22, was shattered by grief when his beloved mum, Victoria Williams, 48, died from cancer in April 2018.

The former salesman sought distraction in work, alcohol, cocaine and partying – until March 2020, when lockdown hit and his cocaine binges led to a gambling addiction.
