Son-of-a-Wallaby-gun shines for Italy in Six Nations

Louis Lynagh looked every inch like another superb talent that got away from Australian rugby as the lightning winger scored one try and made another in Italy's 18-15 triumph over Scotland in the Six Nations Championship.

On another Saturday when the Australian influence on Europe's rugby championship was in full evidence, it wasn't just Wallaby legend Michael Lynagh's lad who shone amid the rain at Rome's Olympic Stadium.

Scotland's No.8 Jack Dempsey also scored a try, but ultimately it proved a disappointing afternoon for both the former Wallaby and his captain and fellow Aussie, Sione Tuipulotu, who were left to bemoan a sluggish performance.
