Tottenham were not at their best as they took on Wolverhampton Wanderers at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It is the second game in a row in which we can say that about a Spurs performance after their 2-2 draw away at Chelsea.
But there was something similar in both matches - Spurs did not lose. After the draw with Chelsea, Spurs picked up all three points against Wolves despite not being at their best to move top of the Premier League table.
Harry Kane was, as is often the case, the Spurs hero, scoring the only goal of the game, nodding home after Ivan Perisic knocked on a Son Heung-min corner. And that goal proved to be enough, although they did hit the woodwork twice through Kane and Son.

Here are the things we spotted during the game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
When Hoddle met Paratici
There was a meeting of Tottenham's past and present before kick-off at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Spurs legend Glenn Hoddle is often on duty when the TV cameras are at the home of the Lilywhites and the former player and manager was working with the BT Sport team for the clash against Wolves.
Hoddle was with his old friend Ossie Ardiles before the match, with another former Spurs manager also called upon by BT Sport to offer his insight before kick-off. But there will have been one meeting that was not picked up by the BT Sport cameras prior to kick-off - Hoddle meeting Spurs' managing director of football Fabio Paratici.
Hoddle and Paratici were spotted shaking hands and having a chat on the pitch before the match got under way. Paratici has been busy in the transfer market this season, bringing in seven new players for Antonio Conte. Perhaps Hoddle was offering his advice on who should be signing number eight before transfer deadline day in 12 days' time.
Ronaldo spotted
One man in the crowd who would have been disappointed with what he saw in the first half was Ronaldo. The Brazil legend scored goals for fun during his career and was widely regarded as one of the most talented players of his generation.
He did not look particularly impressed as the TV cameras homed in on him during a lull in proceedings in the first period. But why was he there watching on?
Well he was a guest of sportswear giants Nike, sitting in their box for the Premier League clash. Nike signed a 15-year deal with Spurs in 2018.
Perisic change
Ivan Perisic, on his full home debut, was the brightest of the Spurs players in what was a pretty dire first half showing. However, there was something in his game that was lacking - corners.
Perisic delivered two corners after coming on as a late substitute vs Chelsea - one with his right foot and one with his left foot. And the one with his left foot ended with Harry Kane nodding home the last-gasp leveller.
So it was a surprise to see Son Heung-min taking all the corners in the first half. That all changed after the break though, with Perisic taking over flag kick duties as Spurs upped the tempo after the interval.
Son and Lloris spat
Son Heung-min and Hugo Lloris have previous when it comes to in-game disagreements. The Tottenham duo were seen arguing as they went off the pitch during a win over Everton in 2020.
Lloris later told reporters it was down to Son not tracking back and allowing Everton to have a shot from range late on in the first half of the contest. But it was strange to see with Son always so placid and Lloris not being the 'shout and scream' type captain.
And there was almost round two on Saturday lunchtime. Lloris gave Son a rollicking which continued as a back and forth for a little while. Lloris wanted Son as an option to throw to for the hosts to break up the pitch but Son was saying to calm things down.
Another Harry Kane record
Records continue to tumble for Tottenham's main man Harry Kane. Barely a game goes by without the Spurs striker hitting one new milestone or another.
The England captain moved level with Sergio Aguero into joint fourth place in the Premier League all-time top scorers' list with his equaliser against Chelsea last weekend. And he also equalled another Aguero record that day - the most goals scored in the Premier League for one club.
And by scoring against Wolves on Saturday Kane moved ahead of Aguero in both departments, taking fourth place on his own in the Premier League list and becoming the outright top scorer in the Premier League for one club. It was also Tottenham's 1,000th Premier League home goal.
