Pascal Struijk's stoppage time equaliser against Brighton last Sunday gave Leeds United a chance of Premier League survival on the final day, coming up this weekend. Burnley and Everton each lost but both have another game to play before the final day. Should Burnley lose theirs, Leeds will go into the final day with their fate in their own hands as they will only need to match Burnley in order to stay up.
Leeds were one of the discussions on BBC's Monday Night Club, as the panel were discussing whether the Whites could stay up on the final day, with the point against Brighton possibly having been vital, should they remain in the league. Micah Richards suggested that he felt Leeds would stay up. However, Chris Sutton had concerns.
He said: "There's something not right at Leeds, though. There seems to be doubts over the manager, I think from certain sections. I was at the game and the fans went from 'sack the board' to 'Marching on Together' in thirty seconds. There was fury inside the stadium, all of a sudden the goal, the relief and it was a big goal.

"I worry for Leeds if they get relegated and there's a strong possibility they will get relegated. Raphinha's been linked with Barcelona, looks like he's going to go, their key man. Kalvin Phillips - another one - will he want to hang around in the Championship?
"I'm worried what could happen. A lot of Leeds fans, they loved Bielsa, absolutely loved Bielsa. I think we've talked about Leeds a few times and talked about what is their identity under Jesse Marsch. At the weekend, Brighton should have been out of sight. Leeds got away with it."
The size of Leeds' final day task will be known by the end of Thursday night. If Burnley draw against Aston Villa, Leeds must better them by at least a point on the final day, whilst if the Clarets win, Leeds could only finish above them by winning their last game against Brentford, with Burnley losing on the final day. Meanwhile, Everton could be caught, if they were to take no more than two points in their final two games. Leeds would have to beat Brentford to overtake them, though.
