'Something for people to enjoy,' say people in Beeston as new world tapas restaurant set to open

People in Beeston welcome a new bar and restaurant replacing the 150-seater Ottimo venue which closed last year. Plans have recently been announced by Glass Orchid that a new restaurant will be opening this autumn.

The unit, located at the Beeston Square development, has been vacant for seven months after the sudden closure of the Italian restaurant Ottimo. Full details have yet to be revealed, however, Glass Orchid has made one short announcement to say a menu of world tapas paired with specially selected wines and a bespoke cocktail menu will be served.

"We are happy to announce that we will be opening our doors this autumn," said the people behind the new business, unrelated to the previous owners. People in Beeston said they were keen to try out the new restaurant when it opens later this year.
