It’s hard to spend any time on the Internet right now without seeing someone giving their hot take on Flock Cameras. The new law enforcement tool that uploads license plate information into a searchable database to help track movements has been a source of hot debate over the past few months with some feeling they’re a great way to catch criminals and others feeling they’re a dangerous case of government overreach. Well, let the record show Darth Vader has picked a side.

Some unidentified rabble-rouser and comedian showed up to a San Diego City Council meeting dressed as the legendary Star Wars villain and expressed his unwavering support for the new technology. He’s apparently particularly stoked about its potential to help himself and the Emperor track the “rebel scum” even if they’re children or his ex-girlfriend who must be stopped.
