Some survivors of tornadoes and flooding can have diplomas and credentials replaced for free

The Kentucky Community and Technical College System usually charges a $25-$35 fee to replace lost or damaged paper credentials. In light of the devastating 2021 tornados in western Kentucky and summer flooding in eastern Kentucky, they’re offering to waive that fee for survivors.

The offer is available to students and graduates of colleges that serve the impacted areas. That includes Big Sandy, Hazard, and Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical Colleges in eastern Kentucky.

Graduates of Henderson, Hopkinsville, Madisonville, and West Kentucky Community and Technical Colleges in western Kentucky are eligible, as well.

Credentials from Somerset Community and Technical College in south central Kentucky will also be replaced for free.

Survivors who lost credentials can request a replacement at kctcs.co/replace.
