Many Morrisons customers will now have to pay more for their meal deals due to a price increase.
Meal deals consist of a main, usually a sandwich, as well as a drink and a snack. The promotion is extremely popular among working people in particular.
Figures released in 2018 suggest the average UK shoppers spends more than £10,000 on meal deals across their working lifetime.

The ECHO understands Morrisons' standard meal deals have jumped up from £3.50 to £4.00, while the The Best meal deals have risen from £4.00 to £4.50. However, you can avoid the extra charge by signing up to the supermarket's My Morrisons loyalty programme.
A Morrisons spokeswoman told the ECHO: "Customers who are signed up to our My Morrisons loyalty programme can still purchase our meal deal for £3.50 and our The Best meal deal for £4.00 when scanning their app or card at the till."
Some Morrisons customers have taken the news badly. On Twitter, Jade said: "I couldn't even cope with £3.50, but four quid for a meal deal?" and Luke said: "Morrisons meal deals are 4 quid now. As a meal deal connoisseur I'm disappointed".
Ashley said: "Morrisons meal deals have gone up to £4. That's an extra £2.50 a week for me ffs" [sic].
