The Solo Levelling-inspired action RPG offers a bunch of ways to customize your playstyle, from unique gear and weapons to character stats and skill trees. With so many options available, it may be hard to find out what the best setup is. In this guide, you'll find the best Solo Hunters build for both weapon and power playstyles.
Best Solo Hunters Builds
While there are technically many different classes and potential playstyles in Solo Hunters, the current meta ultimately boils down to two main build types: weapon (M1) builds and power builds. Yes, there are variations within these playstyles - different weapons, powers, and armor sets - but we’re not here to talk about variety. We’re here to focus on the meta-defining builds in Solo Hunters. With that in mind, here are the two best builds for Solo Hunters.
Best Weapon (M1) Build
When it comes to weapon builds in Solo Hunters, you will want to go with all the items that increase your weapon damage to maximize your raw damage output. Here's the current best build.
- Weapon: Shadow Scythe or Dual Dagger. These are by far the best weapons currently in the game due to their DPS. They’re insanely fast while still capable of dealing solid base damage per hit.
- Armor: The Sunforge Set or the Iron Set. Go with Sunforge if you want a nice balance between offense and defense, or choose the Iron Set if you want to go full YOLO with pure damage. Just keep in mind that weapon builds often require you to fight up close and personal, so having some extra HP is a necessity.
- Ring: The Wanwood Ring or Black Iron Ring. Both of these give you +20% Melee Damage, so they are no-brainers when it comes to weapon builds.
- Class: Tank. The Tank class grants +40% Health and +20% Melee Damage, making it the most optimal choice for a pure weapon build. It’s even better than the Mythic Assassin class when it comes strictly to weapon builds, as survivability (HP) matters more than power damage in this case.
- Stats Allocation: 50% Strength, 30% Defense, and 20% Agility. Put half of your points into Strength to boost your M1 damage, around a third into Defense to increase your total health, and the rest into Agility, as you’ll need to move quickly to avoid boss damage while fighting in melee range.

Best Power (Ability) Build
Just like with weapon builds, an ability-focused build should prioritize items and Solo Hunters stats that increase your raw power damage. As for why, it’s not exactly rocket science - it simply makes your abilities more deadly. With that in mind, here’s the best power build in Solo Hunters for the current release meta.
- Power: Divine Blade. There’s no two ways about it, this is objectively the strongest Power currently in the game (and the only Mythic power). Each ability deals an insane amount of damage, has solid AoE range, and, most importantly, provides i-frames (invincibility frames) on every skill.
- Armor: The Astral Set. There isn’t much choice in this category. The Astral Set is the only set that boosts Power Damage (+20% Ability Damage), making it the clear pick if you’re going for a power build.
- Ring: Dark Heart Ring. With a 22% boost to Ability Damage, this is by far the best ring to equip for a power build in Solo Hunters. A solid alternative is Ring of Fire V2 with 21% Ability Damage.
- Class: Mage. As the name suggests, this is THE CLASS you will want to roll if you want to play a power build. It provides a flat +40% Magic Damage bonus.
- Stats Allocation: 60% Magic Power, 30% Defense, 10% Agility. Put around two-thirds of your points into Strength to upgrade your power damage, around a third into Defense to boost your maximum HP, and the rest into Agility.
