Soho's population is shrinking fast as short-term holiday lets 'hollow out' London's West End

Soho is losing its residential community at an alarming rate amid concerns that short-term holiday lets are hollowing out central London.

Fewer than 2,000 people are now estimated to be living in the capital's vibrant West End as “entire apartment blocks” are being turned into online hotels.
