Exclusive private members club Soho House has revealed its Manchester opening will now be in "late 2023". But membership applications have now officially opened - and have shown for the first time the price you're looking at paying to become a member.

The huge new club will give paying members a Soho House experience across five floors of the iconic former Granada Studios building off Quay Street in the city centre. The venue will feature an exclusive members' gym, steam room and sauna, fine dining restaurant and bar and a stunning rooftop pool.

The club had originally been earmarked to open in late 2022, but bosses are now saying Soho House Manchester will be opening "late 2023." It is set to boast "amazing" views of the city from the top floor pool and bar areas, bosses say.

Soho House & Co CEO Andrew Carnie said: "Bringing Soho House to other cities in the UK has always been something we've wanted to do and, as a Mancunian, I’m particularly proud to be coming to Manchester.

"Nick and the design team have worked hard to create a space for our members that preserves the heritage of the Granada Studios building, while introducing a rooftop pool terrace and floor to ceiling windows on the top floor.

"The view of the city is going to be amazing from there and I can’t wait for members to experience it.”

On the 1st floor, an extensive members’ gym will include a free weights area, studio space, steam and sauna opens on to a balcony with casual seating. Changing rooms will have showers, vanity areas and lounge spaces for members to unwind after training.

The 7th floor will be used as a flexible events space with a large central bar and DJ booth. The main members’ Club space will be on the 8th floor and will comprise a casual bar and lounge area and a more formal dining space.

The kitchens will be run by Head Chef James Lord who will be returning home to Manchester after a period at 76 Dean Street in London. The east-facing wall has a retractable roof with an awning which will be opened up in warmer weather to maximise the views across the city.

Towards the back of the space, an indoor pool lounge area will connect to the outdoor rooftop pool which has sunbeds and a bar on the terrace. A spiral staircase connects to the 9th floor above which includes a late-night bar and live music space that overlooks the rooftop pool.

On the 6th floor, there are 23 bedrooms designed specifically for Soho House members, ranging from "cosy rooms" to "large suites" which will have freestanding baths and living space. This floor also includes an 80sq meter private apartment with an open plan living room with kitchenette, dining table and lounge area and a connecting second bedroom.
