Social welfare Ireland: Payment dates to change due to June Bank Holiday

ENT Ireland the Department of Social Protection

The Department of Social Protection is reminding social welfare recipients that there are changes to payment dates this June Bank Holiday weekend.

Both post offices and banks will be shut on the June Bank Holiday Monday, which means payment dates have been shuffled around as a result, Dublin Live reports.

If you are due a payment on Monday, June 5, you will be able to collect your social welfare as early as Friday, June 2.
