Over 114,000 carers will benefit from a bonus cost of living payment next week.
Several once-off lump sums were announced by the Government in Budget 2023. Those availing of the Working Family Payment, the Living Alone increase, the Fuel Allowance and Disability Allowance will all receive bonus payments this week.
Next Monday, November 21, will see carers across Ireland receive their €500 once-off payment. Anyone who qualifies for the Carer's Support Grant is eligible for the lump-sum.

The Carer's Support Grant is usually paid in June and had a rate of €1,850 for each person getting care this year. Next week's €500 lump sum will only be paid once per carer, even if they are caring for more than one person.
