Social welfare Easter bank holiday payment date changes confirmed with some to be paid early

the Department of Social Protection

The Department of Social Protection has confirmed the changes to social welfare payments over the Easter bank holiday.

This year, there will be several changes to payday affecting thousands of people as banks and post offices are due to close on Friday and Monday.

Payments that are due to change date on this occasion include pension, child benefit, and casual jobseeker's.
