Former Georgia Bulldogs tight end Brock Bowers is off to a strong start in his NFL career. The Las Vegas Raiders rookie scored a 57-yard touchdown in his first career NFL touchdown.
The Raiders are looking smart for drafting Bowers in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft. Bowers has 20 receptions and 216 receiving yards entering Week 5. He is already one of the most productive tight ends in the NFL and is set to see increased targets with Las Vegas wide receiver Davante Adams seeking a trade.
The Georgia rookie showed elite body control and his yard after the catch ability on his touchdown. It did not take the Raiders tight end long to reach full speed. Bowers’ touchdown put the Raiders up 7-0 against the Denver Broncos.
Bowers has the most receiving yardage (265 yards after his touchdown) of any Raiders tight end through five games.

Bowers is better than Bo Nix
With the No. 12 pick in the 2024 NFL draft the #Broncos select…Bo Nix, QB, Oregon.
