After seeing the Packers, Vikings and Falcons all lose this weekend, the Los Angeles Rams had a perfect opportunity to take over the seventh seed in the NFC with a win over the Washington Commanders. Ron Rivera’s squad made things interesting late in the game, but the Rams held on to win, 28-20.
It was a much-needed bounce-back win for the Rams after last week’s overtime loss to the Ravens, and Sean McVay’s group delivered. Matthew Stafford was sharp, throwing for 258 yards, while Cooper Kupp had his second straight 100-yard game. Kyren Williams continued his hot streak, rushing for 152 yards and a touchdown in the win.

Wish it had been more triumphant, and hope that 4Q didn’t cost the Rams some additional bumps and bruises on a short week, but they get to .500 with a wire-to-wire win and are set for a 7-7 showdown on TNF against the Saints.

Heading into week 16 the Rams have managed to find themselves in a playoff spot. I really thought they’d be a bottom 5 team with the talent they lost but the youth infusion from the last couple drafts has really sparked them. Excited to watch relevant late December football
