On Tuesday, it was announced that Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert would be out with a fractured right finger for the remainder of the season.
Even though Los Angeles is not trending toward making the playoffs, it’s tough to know that Herbert will miss time with an injury that was a result of poor protection, which has been an issue all season.
The Bolts will turn to Easton Stick to start at quarterback for the rest of the 2023 season.

Generally speaking I would say you are ideally trying to be under the 34% mark in regards to the % of pressured drop backs each year. That has only happened once in Justin Herbert’s career, back in 2021 when he had the 5th lowest % of pressured db’s.
