Social Bite temporarily close Edinburgh city centre café to 'review best use of location'

Social Bite Edinburgh Shandwick Place

Social Bite have confirmed the temporary closure of one of their Edinburgh cafe's while they explore more "exciting opportunities" in the capital.

The charity, who also own a number of stores within the city, have confirmed that their coffee and sandwich shop on Shandwick Place, near Haymarket, is currently closed, although no time scale has been placed on it re-opening, if at all

The shop, which offers a range of hot and cold snacks, has been closed for a number of weeks, with no sign of life or notice on the window. Confirming the news to Edinburgh Live, a spokesperson for Social Bite said that the team are currently reviewing the best use of the location while they work on up and coming developments across the city.
