Sammy Silvera has issued a reminder, both to promotion-pushing Middlesbrough and to World Cup-bound Australia, that he could be yet play a big part in their 2026 ambitions following his striking goalscoring start to the year.

The Boro winger had appeared to have become a bit of an afterthought in Boro's push for Premier League football in England since new Swedish boss Kim Hellberg took the reins in November.
