- Soccer Aid will take place at London Stadium on 31st May, featuring an England squad against aw World XI, marking 20 years of the charity event.
- The England team includes football legends Wayne Rooney, Jermain Defoe, Jill Scott, Toni Duggan, Theo Walcott and goalkeeper Joe Hart.
- They’ll be joined by celebrities Olly Murs, Owen Cooper, Paddy McGuinness, GK Barry, Alex Brooker, Angryginge, Tom Grennan, Tom Hiddleston, Damson Idris, Jordan North, Sam Thompson and Joe Marler in goal. Soccer Aid co-founder Robbie Williams will once again coach England.
- So far, the World XI will feature football icons Jordi Alba, Leonardo Bonucci, Edwin Van Der Sar, Jen Beattie and Ali Krieger. They’ll play alongside Maisie Adam, Richard Gadd, Big Zuu and Nitro from Gladiators, with Olympic champion Usain Bolt making his debut as coach.
- The event serves as a fundraiser for UNICEF UK, supporting their emergency and development work for children globally.
- Tickets for the Soccer Aid charity match are now available, costing £20 for adults and £10 for juniors, with each purchase including entry to a pre-game Fan Zone. The event is also confirmed for broadcast on ITV1, ITVX, STV, and STV Player.
