News that a statue is being planned of Derby County boss Wayne Rooney has generated plenty of comment among Nottingham Forest fans.
There has been no shortage of drama at the other end of Brian Clough Way in recent months, with the Reds’ arch-rivals facing the threat of liquidation.
Rooney has only been in charge of the Rams on a permanent basis for little more than a year, and his team are currently second-bottom of the Championship table, following a 21-point deduction.
But one Derby supporter is planning to build a bust of the former England striker, which it is hoped will be placed at the side of Pride Park.
When the news emerged, Forest supporters were quick to start poking fun at their bitter enemies on social media.
