Former Diamonds captain Sharni Norder is pleading for positivity after coaching was identified as the chief reason for the alarming teenage drop-out rate in Australian sport.

A dual netball World Cup winner and two-time All-Australian AFLW great, Norder is the face of a study by The Centre of Sport and Social Impact from La Trobe University aimed at better understanding why a lack of confidence is a barrier to participation in team sports for young people.
