The SNP has re-taken control of Dundee City Council after five years of coalition with Scotland's longest-serving councillor.
The nationalists managed to get 15 councillors across the city to give them a majority out of the 29 potential seats.
Kevin Cordell for the Ferry was announced as the final SNP candidate to be returned shortly after 3pm.
Dundee's electoral landscape has shifted significantly, with two new Liberal Democrats elected in Strathmartine and the West End, and Labour candidates returned in the North East and The Ferry for the first time in years.
The Conservatives now have one seat in the Ferry, while the Scottish Greens failed to make headway despite increasing their share of the vote.
Liberal Democrats have returned to Strathmartine for the first time in a decade, with local community campaigner Daniel Coleman elected in place of outgoing stalwart Ian Borthwick.
The Lib Dems have also reaped the rewards of persistent local campaigning after repeat candidate Michael Crichton ousted Labour's Richard McCready in the West End.
Crichton is joined by Nadia El-Nakla, wife of SNP health minister Humza Yousaf, who has replaced the Conservatives' Donald Hay.
Elsewhere, Alba defector Alan Ross - who joined the party in February after a spell as an independent after quitting the SNP - has lost his seat in Lochee.
Ross, who previously planned to retire from local politics, was replaced by the SNP's Siobhan Tolland, who was elected despite her controversial comments about the 9/11 attacks and the Pope.
Wendy Scullin, proprietor of Madigan's Tea Room on Castle Street, has slid into the Labour seat previously occupied by councillor-turned-MSP Michael Marra.
In Coldside, Heather Anderson has replaced outgoing SNP councillor Anne Rendall. There are no changes in Maryfield, where the SNP's Ken Lynn and Lynne Short and Labour's Georgia Cruickshank maintain their existing seats.
In the North East, Steven Rome and Willie Sawers of the SNP have retained their chairs at the council table - while Labour's Jax Finnegan replaces Gregor Murray, the non-binary representative who quit the SNP citing concerns of transphobia within the party and later said they would not be standing again.
Dorothy McHugh, chair of the Dundee Pensioners' Association and a firebrand activist, has replaced Margaret Richardson in the East End.
