The SNP has confirmed its candidates for Renfrewshire's council election in May with several new faces hoping to grab a seat in the chamber.
All sitting Nationalist councillors have been re-selected to stand alongside four others looking to represent communities for the first time.
Robert Innes, who has worked as a researcher for MP Mhairi Black for the last six years, will be the candidate in Houston, Crosslee and Linwood, while Bruce MacFarlane - who stood in the botched by-election last year - is aiming to represent Paisley Southeast.
The other new candidates will be Graeme Stockton and Fiona Nicolson, the former of which stood in the 2017 poll but failed to secure a seat.

Mr Stockton will be campaigning in Johnstone North, Kilbarchan, Howwood and Lochwinnoch, while Fiona Nicolson is looking to represent residents in Bridge of Weir, Bishopton and Langbank.
Dad-of-two Mr Innes said he would focus on reducing anti-social behaviour and pushing for better roads investment if elected.
"I want to be an approachable councillor and I believe I can deliver on this," said Mr Innes, who will be campaigning in the ward with Councillor Audrey Doig.
“I want to see even further investment in our roads, a reduction in antisocial behaviour, more safe spaces for young people, and I want to protect our greenbelt land.
“I am not your typical cardboard cutout of a politician. I grew up in poverty in Renfrewshire. I know what it is like to feel like the system is against you.
"If you have a problem that needs solving I will fight for you with everything I have."
Mr MacFarlane is aiming to become one of the youngest councillors ever in Renfrewshire aged just 22.
He added: "Paisley Southeast deserves a local councillor who is accessible, approachable and committed.
"If elected, I will work tirelessly for the area and be accessible to local people.
“I hope I can earn the trust of voters in this election."
Across the rest of the region, council leader Iain Nicolson and Michelle Campbell will be standing in Erskine and Inchinnan, while deputy leader Jim Paterson will campaign again in Renfrew South and Gallowhill alongside Cathy McEwan, who has been representing the ward since 2007.
Emma Rodden will campaign with Mr Stockton for Johnstone North, Kilbarchan, Lochwinnoch and Howwood, while Andy Steel and Jacqueline Cameron will stand again in Johnstone South and Elderslie.
Provost Lorraine Cameron and Stephen Burns will be the SNP candidates in Paisley Southwest, Marie McGurk will partner Mr MacFarlane in Paisley Southeast, and Kenny and Mags MacLaren will be hoping to secure their fourth and third terms respectively in Paisley Northwest.
John McNaughtan and Will Mylet will be aiming to keep their seats in Paisley East and Central and Jennifer Adam-McGregor - sister of Paisley MSP George Adam - will be standing again in Paisley Northeast and Ralston.
John Shaw and Lisa-Marie Hughes complete the candidate list standing in Renfrew North and Braehead.
Councillor Nicolson said: "All of our existing councillors are standing again and with the addition of some new faces it will be our strongest team to date.
"The breadth of talent demonstrates our commitment the council continues to deliver for all the people of Renfrewshire."
