SNP cancel anti-abortion group's conference event after member backlash

SNP leaders have pulled the plug on an anti-abortion group’s event at their party conference, saying they were “wrong” to allow to be scheduled.

The party told The National that the fringe event at their national conference, which will be held in Aberdeen from October 15-17, had been cancelled after concerns were raised by SNP members.
