Forecasters are warning snow could fall in some parts of the UK today (Weds) as Leeds braces itself for another cold day.
The Met Office has issued two yellow weather warnings for parts of the nation. A warning for snow and ice is in place in northern Scotland, while a yellow weather warning for ice has been issued for England's east coast.
Low temperatures are also being forecast for Leeds today - and the bad news is it will feel much colder than it actually is.
There will be some sunny spells in Leeds throughout the morning and into the early afternoon and it will be a clear evening in the city. The top temperature will be 4°C, but it will feel closer to freezing throughout the day. It will be a particularly cold night in Leeds, with temperatures set to drop to 0°C at 7pm.
Looking further ahead, the Met Office is predicting a 'very cold' end to the week in Yorkshire & the Humber. It says: "Very cold, especially overnight with widespread frosts. Sunny spells, but daytime temperatures remaining close to freezing.
"Showers, predominantly coastal, will turn increasingly wintry at lower levels with icy patches possible."
