A terrifying low pressure system looming in the Atlantic is set to bring rain and snow to Britain's shores.

The UK is set to be battered by heavy rain and strong winds over the coming days, with gusts of more than 70mph set to batter the country.

On Saturday, millions of people face a washout over the day with rain set to fall practically everywhere in England, Northern Ireland and Wales, with showers falling in Scotland.
