Liverpool could see more snow and ice this weekend as the cold weather continues.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice for Liverpool and the rest of the North West on Sunday (December 18). Temperatures are set to drop to -5 degrees on Sunday, when icy conditions are expected to cause some travel disruption.

The weather warning said: "A period of rain and snow mixed falling on frozen surfaces will lead to icy conditions causing some travel disruption."
What to expect:
- Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces
- Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths
- There is a chance that road, air and rail services could be disrupted or delayed
The Met Office forecast for the North West on Sunday said: "Patchy rain, sleet and hill snow at times during the morning, this possibly heavier early afternoon, giving locally icy conditions and snow accumulations on hills. Turning windy but becoming milder. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
"Very mild on Monday, but often wet with heavy rain in places. Turning cooler on Tuesday and Wednesday with bright spells and occasional showers. Often windy with coastal gales possible."
