Snoochie Shy series The Career Games confirmed for BBC Three - here's what we know so far

Radio presenter Snoochie Shy has announced that she will be hosting the BBC’s new upcoming show The Career Games for BBC Three.

As well as being a BBC 1Xtra presenter, Snoochie also appeared on the 2021 series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

The Career Games announcement comes just weeks after BBC Three was relaunched as a TV channel following several years of it being available online only for streaming on BBC iPlayer.

What do we know so far about The Career Games?

The Career Games is a six-part series all about aspiration, giving young, hopefuls a chance to shoot their shot and get their dream jobs.

The programme see candidates compete against each other in a high-pressure interview for the role of their dreams. These careers could range from being a high-end estate agent to an interior designer and even a DJ.

The challenges for the contestants will be drawn up by their potential future employers. Each episode of The Career Games will put the candidates to the test by pushing them to their limits.

The game show has started filming across various areas across the UK. The series will air before the 9pm TV watershed and it will give insights to viewers and young people, in particular, on the different jobs open to them.

Speaking about her involvement in the show, Snoochie said: "So excited to be solo hosting my first BBC TV show and it is The Career Games makes it even better!!!

"This is gonna be such a great show, the candidates are all amazing and I’m having the most fun presenting it! Let’s get dishing out some sick jobs!”

Snoochie has previously co-presented TV programmes such as YO! MTV Raps, as well as several online shows, such as JBL’s The Orange Box show.

The official broadcast date for The Career Games is yet to be announced by the BBC.
