A Lanarkshire support worker has received a warning after pretending to work shifts and taking away more than £1,000 while working as a vaccinator during the covid pandemic.

Zeeshan Ali Aziz was employed as a Health Care Support Worker Covid Vaccinator by NHS Lanarkshire at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility when the incident occurred.

Between April 19 and May 26 2021, Mr Aziz completed his staff sign-in sheet to confirm he was beginning an eight-hour shift before leaving the centre on five separate occasions.
