Fans of Irn-Bru are in for a treat after one of Scotland's leading retail firms revealed the popular 1901 full sugar recipe will soon be available in 330ml cans.
Scottish wholesale distributor, which supplies Key Stores across the country, tweeted a sneak peek of the cans on their official Twitter page confirming Irn-Bru would be rolling out a 'sleek' new orange cans in mid-February.
Up until now, the new 1901 Irn-Bru, which became a permanent addition to shelves in Scotland back in March last year, was only available in the traditional glass bottles famously associated with makers Barr's.
The full sugar, sweetener-free 'old and improved' version of every Scot's favourite ginger has been a hit since it was first released as a limited edition in 2019.
It will now be available in packs of 12 with an RSP of £1 per can, according to Scottish Local Retailer.
Confirming the news via Twitter, JWFilshill tweeted: "Look out for the NEW Sleek can from Irn-Bru. coming very soon to JW Filshill."
The stylish new cans are a new look with a traditional leaning for the 1901 recipe drink, which contains 11 grams of sugar per 100ml and is said to come from a handwritten recipe book, which was stored deep in AG Barr's archives for more than 100 years.
No doubt fans will be delighted to be able to get a hold of this new and accessible version of this version of the popular juice.
