Snapdeal parent AceVector’s IPO opens for subscription: Key things to know

AceVector, ecommerce platform Snapdeal's parent company, opened its initial public offering (IPO) for subscription on Friday. The flotation is a combination of a fresh issue and an offer for sale.

Here are key things to know about the public offer:

1. IPO dates

The AceVector IPO will remain open for subscription until September 29. The company raised Rs 189 crore from anchor investors on September 24. Domestic investors, including Helios Mutual Fund, Singularity Growth and Alchemy Capital, participated in the round.

2. Issue size and price band

AceVector's IPO is a book built issue of Rs 420 crore. The price band has been fixed at Rs 30 to Rs 32 per equity share. Each share has a face value of Re 1. The company is expected to seek a post-issue market capitalisation of Rs 1,741 crore.

3. When will the shares be listed?

The allotment of shares is scheduled for September 30, with refunds to be initiated on October 1. Shares will be credited on the same day, and the stock is set to list on October 5.

4. What is the minimum investment?

The IPO has a minimum bidding limit of 468 shares. Individual retail investors require a minimum amount of Rs 14,976, based on the upper end of the price band. Retail investors can apply for up to 13 lots, or 6,084 shares, which would require an investment of Rs 1,94,688.

5. Investor reservation

At least 75% of the offer will be allocated to qualified institutional buyers (QIBs). Not more than 15% of the offer will be available to non-institutional bidders, and around 10% will be reserved for retail individual bidders.

6. Existing investors selling shares

The offer for sale includes up to 2,76,07,082 shares being offloaded by Starfish I, a Singapore-registered holding company backed by SoftBank. Other selling shareholders include Nexus India Direct Investments II, FIH Business Global and Nexus Opportunity Fund.

7 . How will AceVector use the funds?

The proceeds of the fresh issue will go to the company. AceVector plans to use the funds to promote its marketplace business, to meet technology infrastructure costs, and to pursue inorganic growth.

Specifically, the company proposes to utilise the net proceeds as follows: Rs 132 crore for marketing, Rs 50 crore for technology infrastructure, and the rest for general corporate purposes.

8. What does AceVector do?

Incorporated in 2007, AceVector runs a digital commerce ecosystem spanning ecommerce, enablement SaaS, and consumer brands. Its portfolio includes Snapdeal, Unicommerce, Convertway, and Shipway. Snapdeal reached 18,972 pin codes across India in FY26.

AceVector’s total income increased 32% to Rs 538 crore in FY26 from Rs 407 crore in FY25. The company also narrowed its net loss significantly to Rs 45 crore in FY26, from Rs 126 crore a year earlier.
