Harrison Ford has had a Peruvian snake species named after him. The newly discovered species has been named Tachymenoides harrisonfordi to honour the actor’s environmental advocacy. The Star Wars actor, who is the vice chair of non-profit group Conservation International, said it was a “humbling” development. His legendary Indiana Jones character fears snakes, noted the BBC, but Ford said he personally likes serpents and “found a quick kinship with this one”.
Men pay ‘giantess’ for videos
A woman who was bullied for decades over her six-foot-one height says she’s found self-confidence and an income stream by flaunting her frame online. Lucie Tabitha, 35, now makes more than $10,000 a month filming fetish videos for men who refer to her as an “Amazonian Goddess”, said the New York Post. A lot of people have a “giantess fetish”, she said. “They like to be trampled on and dominated by me or cared for like a little pet, sometimes they like to be eaten by me”, she added.
Tourists found asleep in Eiffel Tower
A pair of tourists were found sleeping in the Eiffel Tower after they got stuck in the monument “because of how drunk they were”, reported The Independent. The American men were discovered by security guards “in the early hours” of Monday, said the landmark’s operator. Although they were discovered in a spot normally closed to the public, they “did not pose any apparent threat”, the Société d’Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel added.
