Photographs and trophies were left abandoned inside an eerie derelict pub.
The former Mason Arms pub on Wigan Road in Wigan, has been left to rot for some years. Planning permission to bring the vacant pub "back into use" was granted in 2020 by Wigan Council, according to documents on the local authority's website.
A planning application for single storey extensions to the rear of the pub, following partial demolition to the back, and external alterations including new and additional windows and render finish was approved by the council with conditions. However, it is unclear if plans are moving forward.

Footage taken by urban explorer Daniel Sims - known as Bearded Reality on YouTube and Instagram - shows how the pub has continued to rot. In the eight minute video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Daniel took a tour around the premises with friends.
Once inside the former pub, the group finds historical photos, curtains which have remained untouched and trophies which were dotted all round the building. Halloween decorations can also be seen strewn across the floor.
It appears people had already been inside the former pub as beer bottles and graffiti can also be seen in the footage. Upstairs, Daniel and his friends stumble across a decoration coffin, fridges and other white goods all across the room.
It appears upstairs was some sort of accommodation as their are bedrooms, beds and bathrooms, many of which dirty. Speaking to the ECHO, Daniel said: "The place itself was quite strange and seems like may be getting ready to be demolished. We found some old trophies and what seemed like old Halloween decorations set up, so perhaps it had closed around that time."
