Slovenia striker Danijel Sturm has warned Scotland they have targeted six points from their opening two games in the Nations League against Sebastien Pocognoli's new side and North Macedonia.
Pocognoli will take charge of his first game as Scotland boss on Saturday against the Slovenians, before three more quick-fire matches in the group.
Slovenia suffered a major blow this week following the withdrawal through injury of their £73 million striker from Manchester United, Benjamin Sesko
But Sparta Prague winger Sturm believes they can still get off to a perfect start....starting against the Scots.
He said: "We would be satisfied with all six points in the opening two matches. That is our target.
"We have to enter every match with the thought of winning. Everyone expects that from us
"Of course, being without Benjamin is a big loss for us. We know what he means to us, what he brings to the national team in attack.
"We will try to adapt to his absence as best as possible, but we will definitely miss him.
"It is up to the rest of the players to step up now."
Meanwhile, Leeds United defender Jaka Bijol admitted he has respect for the Scots.
He said: "The teams we are playing are really high-quality, starting with Scotland.
"And if I am being honest, Switzerland probably belongs in League A.
"If we want to continue to be successful, we have to build on results.
"The goal is certainly to stay in the section because the matches will be really difficult."
