Slipknot have announced a 2027 stadium tour which will feature support acts including Marilyn Manson and Bring Me The Horizon.
Since forming in 1995, the American heavy metal band have released seven studio albums and sold more than 30 million records worldwide.
Next year they will perform shows across the US and South America as part of their sic(est) Stadium Tour, which will kick off with a show in London at Wembley Stadium.
The concert – a UK and Europe exclusive – will be staged on July 3 and be supported by Marilyn Manson, American deathcore band Lorna Shore and American metalcore band Hatebreed.
The tour will then move on to the US and Canada – with shows in cities including Washington DC, New York City, Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, Boston, Houston and San Francisco.
The band will also play five South American performances in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Colombia.
The tour is being billed by their management as the “ultimate Slipknot experience to date”.
It will feature a “brand new set, new staging and a setlist spanning across their career”.
Other support acts throughout the shows include Bring Me The Horizon, Acid Bath, Lamb of God, Motionless In White, Kublai Khan TX, Polyphia, Loathe and Vended.
The title of the tour is a nod to (sic), the first full song on their 1999 breakthrough self-titled album.
Following the announcement of the tour, Slipknot also invited fans to attend Wembley Stadium on Monday night.
Running from 5pm to 9pm the event offers them the chance to buy tickets to shows before pre-sale and general sale to the public open.
Also held in Los Angeles, the events feature a pop-up shop with exclusive and limited merch items, while the first 500 ticket buyers will receive a free event poster with exclusive art.
At sunset, fans are also encouraged to gather around a 30-foot high, iconic flaming Slipknot Tribal S symbol.
Earlier this month, Slipknot released the single Arsenal – their first in more than three years.
The single also marked their first recording following the exit of turntablist Sid Wilson, who left the band August, and keyboardist-sampler Craig Jones, who left in 2023.
The current line-up includes Shawn Crahan, Mick Thomson, Corey Taylor, Jim Root, Alessandro Venturella, Michael Pfaff and Eloy Casagrande.
Since forming more than 30 years ago Slipknot have also been nominated for 11 Grammy Awards – winning one.
Their last album – The End, So Far – was released in 2022.
Slipknot’s artist tour pre-sale begins at 10am BST on Tuesday, September 29, while general sale begins at 10am BST on Friday, October 2.
