Three Allianz League games were postponed today as weather conditions wreaked havoc with the GAA weekend schedule.
Division Two clash Offaly v Galway, Division Three fixture Westmeath v Longford as well as Sligo v Cavan in Division Four have all been called off.
Sligo's clash with Cavan in Division Four of the Allianz Football League was the first to be postponed due to an unplayable pitch.
GAA officials have called off the game as the effects of Storm Eunice at Markievicz Park mean that the playing surface isn't up to standard.
Weather conditions have caused postponements this weekend across the League of Ireland and GAA, with several Ladies Gaelic football league clashes falling victim to the elements.
A GAA statement read: "The Allianz Football League Division 4 fixture, Sligo v Cavan, has been postponed due to an unplayable pitch. The CCC will confirm re-fixture details next week".
Sligo GAA said: "Following continued heavy overnight rain, an inspection of Markievicz Park this morning has found that the pitch is unplayable. Today's Alliannz Football League Div 4 game against Cavan County Board is now postponed.
"A new date will be fixed and announced in due course. Tickets purchased for today's game will be valid for the refixture."
And this afternoon, the GAA confirmed that the Tullamore clash of Offaly and Galway as well as Westmeath v Longford were also off.
