Former Everton player Slaven Bilic fears that his old club are at a disadvantage to their relegation rivals - because the other clubs have been in this position before.
Frank Lampard's side were sucked ever closer to the relegation zone after suffering a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Burnley on Wednesday evening. It means the third-from-bottom Clarets now just one point behind the Blues, with nine games to play. And ex-Croatian international Bilic, who spent two seasons at Goodison Park in the late 90s, has pointed out that the three teams currently residing in the drop zone have all been there and done it before.
Speaking on Sky Sports News, when asked if Everton had forgotten how to win, he said: "It looks like it. With the pressure, they have big problems now. It's a massive club and they were aiming for the top eight, or whatever, for improvement. (But) it's not the first time that they were in this situation this late in the season. They have to start winning the games.

"Now we have four clubs and no-one is enjoying it. No-one is looking forward to being in a relegation battle, but Norwich, Watford and Burnley, we've been there already. They even went down with the same manager. But they know how to do it. They know how to cope. They're not enjoying the situation but they are not afraid of being in this position because they have memories about this. Bad memories, but they know how to act. With Everton, it's completely new for these players and it's a shock for them and now Frank's got a big task."
Everton host Manchester United on Saturday lunchtime, while Burnley face basement club Norwich City at Carrow Road on Sunday. Meanwhile, Watford will entertain Leeds United a couple of hours after the Goodison Park clash.
